Advantages: no postage costs, Delievered same day if in stock
Disadvantages: none
Found this site through using Kelkoo.co.uk, a search engine which compares prices. At the time of searching for a particular DVD - 'The Office Series 1', DVD Plus offered the cheapest price and also no postage charge. The search facility was easy to use - by title, director, or starring and also by Genre. I entered 'The Office' in the search engine and was surprised that only one DVD came up which was 'Sex in the Office/Lesbian Nurses at Home' (this was going to be fun!). After getting sidetracked for about half an hour from what I was looking for (my own fault), I decided to take 'The' out of the search and what I was looking for appeared. The cost was £13.95. There is a brief description of the DVD and cast and length of film etc. I decided to check what other films were available and there was a lot of choice. Many of the latest releases and older films I wanted this very quickly as it was a last minute present. I registered (took a few minutes) and my choice was added to my basket. At the checkout there is an option to apply for a DVD card which is a pre-pay internet shopping card for added security (this is similar to the cards used for mobile phone top ups). I gave this a miss and just paid by credit card. There is an option of having your purchase gift wrapped at £1.50 - personally I think this is too much & decided to buy my own wrapping at a cost of 5 sheets for a quid. There is a refund policy - return within 10 days. I was tempted to order the 'Sex in the Office' DVD, watch it and return it if no good but then I noticed the DVD had to be ireturned with the original packaging. I checked if my purchase was in stock and it was and would be despatched the same day which I thought was excellent. It arrived the next morning. How's that for service!

- 17/02/03 Hmm I may check this out...I usually go to play.com or 101cd.com for DVD's and CD's since they seem to be the best prices with no postage and I haven't seen this site come up on Kelkoo before, thanks for the idea!
