Advantages: VERY VERY FAST, CHEAP, GREAT SERVICE

Disadvantages: Errr... I have to pay!!!, THERE IS NONE, THERE IS NONE

I have recently bought quite a few DVDs off various sites. I have been buying some of the James bond films for a mate so he can finish off his collection (he doesn't trust the internet so I was buying for him).

We first used HMV. Not because its cheap and I have never bought from them before, but it was because I was buying The living daylights. This film as some might know has been discontinued but I managed to buy what seems to be the last copy of it for £19.50 inc postage (using NUS) which was an absalute bargain at the time as it was selling on sites like Ebay and Amazon for £40-105!!! (It was pulled from HMV the next day... lucky hey)

Anyway enough of waffling.

We also wanted 'On Her Majesties Secret Service' and 'Octopussy'

We looked around and found splashdvd selling it for and amazing £6.50 (special sale as it was there 2yr aniversary) I paid and watched the money get taken from my account and then heard nothing and received nothing for a week (it said despatch would be 5-7 days as it does with most things on their site). I then emailled and they said they are waiting for a supplier and told me it might be in in 10 days time?!?!?!

During this time I also looked for Octopussy. splashes sale had finished and prices were back to £8.50. So I looked around I found www.dvdplus.co.uk selling it at £8.50 also but they had 100 in stock and offered despatch within 24hrs.

So I bought one at 10am.

The next day at 9am the DVD was on my doorstep.... Now I don't think you could get much faster than that. **** LESS THAN 24hrs FROM ORDER TO RECEIVING ****

So I cancelled my order with splash as I was fed up of waiting and re-ordered 'secret service' with DVDPLUS.

I also email to say thanks as I thing their service is great...

My opinion is to check the prices using Kelkoo:

other good (cheap and fast) sites are play.com and cd-wow.com but look around a bit first...
