I recently used the DVLA website to apply for a tax disc, and this is the first time I have done so.
I was very impressed.
As soon as the Tax disc reminder came through the post, all I had to do was go online, to the DVLA website, then enter the reference number on the reminder.
The website was able to check all my insurance and MOT details on line and all I had to do was enter payment details.
There was a £2.50 charge for using a credit card, but this was no big deal as it had saved me a great deal of time and effort.
I used to have to dig out my insurance and MOT certificate, then head to the Post office, wait in long queues for my Tax disc, but now all I have to do is enter the reminder number and its done!

The tax disc arrived in the post just two days after, and the service was really quick and efficient.

I now do all my families tax discs online and would recommend it to everyone.
It saves so much time and is fast and secure.
