Advantages: everything!
Disadvantages: nothing!
How many shops can you take young children into and really relax? I know of one. And this is it! The Early Learning Centre is fantastic, whilst you browse the shelves the kids dart off in different directions in order to explore! They knock over boxes - investigate the contents!, drive past in toy cars, pour you a pretend cup of tea, dust the shelves... this is a toy shop with a big difference - your kids can trash the place and you are under absolutely no pressure to buy a thing! I have never visited a shop where the staff are so child friendly, ok so you love your own kids but you really can't stand other people's!!! I have no idea where The Early Learning Centre find their staff but I'ld love to take one home with me! They'll get on their hands and knees, pretend hoover, retrieve dummys, mop up tears they'll even serve you if you really do want to buy something! It is so refreshing to step into a shop where the staff don't turn pale at the site of your troop! The toys they stock are excellent ( they have a policy of avoiding fads that are here today and gone tomorrow! )and the prices are excellent. Early Learning Stores are also really well laid out, my store is tiny but they still managed to squeeze in baby changing room facilities! I cannot rave about The Early Learning Centre enough, the thing that makes them different? the fact that they really do care and by making shopping an enjoyable experience for parents and their kids I have no doubts they ultimately reap their monetary rewards! I always shop here!

- 15/08/00 that's a real shame... I had my three yr old run off on me the other day, the staff from my early learning centre shot out to help look for him. I couldn't begin to thank them enough - they are really lovely people! My local store is Worcester - I suggest you move town lol! |
