Having heard many excellent reviews of Bristol’s Red Snapper restaurant and its recent rewarding for cuisine and service with a Rosette it was with a good deal of anticipation that I booked a table for a romantic Valentine evening meal there. On first impressions Red Snapper, situated off the main drag of White Ladies Road and on the quiet side street that is Chandos Road, was a charming if rather minimalist restaurant bedecked in hard to ignore canary yellow and red.
