Advantages: Cheap prices. Free delivery sometimes. Lots of choice.
Disadvantages: Items sometimes out of stock. Items sometimes DOA. Won't communicate by email (e-notes only)
I've used ebuyer for several years now for computer parts and peripherals initially but recently for memory cards for digital cameras etc. They have now enlarged their range to domestic electrical items but I've never bought any of these items from them.
Their prices are usually very competitive but not always the cheapest so shop around. Their delivery is normally quite quick but free delivery offered on some items sometimes takes a bit longer. A memory card I bought recently was with me in a few days however so it's not always slow.
They seem , from the reviews on some of the items they sell, to send out more than the average of dead on arrival items which is a bit annoying if you're relying on the part to get your computer going. Perhaps I've been fortunate but I've only had one dead item which was a power supply. This was a bit annoying after installing it and finding a dead computer but they did replace it and refund the cost of postage. Many people find the use of their e-notes annoying because they do tend to be a bit slow replying which holds up the replacement of items which are duff. They won't accept returned items until they've agreed to the return and given you a number so don't just send the item back as they won't deal with it. When things go wrong don't get abusive or insulting as like the rest of us they don't like it and it will make things worse. Keep cool and all will be resolved - eventually.
I'll continue to use ebuyer for their prices alone but if you'd prefer to pay a bit more for good and fast customer service stick to somebody like Amazon.
Summary: Cheap prices, excellent range of items, can be slow when things go wrong.
