Great service, and fast and FREE delivery in my case - slight problem with making my account though (Ebuyer.com)

Advantages: Free delivery which took only two working days in my case

Disadvantages: Slight problem with signing up for account, as my password was mysteriously rejected.

I have used Dabs, Komplett and Scan mostly in the past and have never used eBuyer, so I thought I'd get my new printer from them for a change, especially after reading that Dabs have really gone downhill recently.

I am very impressed! I ordered a Canon iP4500, after seeing that their price was only a few pennies more expensive than the cheapest retailers in Froogle, and I had never heard of any of them. I chose the FREE delivery, within 5 working days, as I was not in a great hurry to get it.

I ordered it on a Friday, with the next Friday being the estimated delivery date - and it arrived the next Tuesday. So I still got it pretty fast, without having to pay anything for delivery. This means that it has also turned out to be the very cheapest place I could have bought it from (as far as I know).

I also called customer services when I was having problem signing up for an account, as it would not accept my intended password, even though it fitted the (rather over-secure) criteria, and I was sure I was typing it i right. I found them to be very keen to help me out, but the issue was never resolved as they could not figure out why it was being rejected either. I ended up choosing a new password that I will have to try to remember, as it is not my usual "Grade 2" security level (out of 4) online password.

I will definitely be using them much more in the future, as long as the experience continues to be as positive as this. I have knocked one star off for the weird password problem, as I am sure it was not my fault, but I do feel I am being pretty harsh, lol.
