Advantages: Very Competitive Prices

Disadvantages: None - maybe site is a bit cluttered.

This will be a very similar review to my last one on Novatech and both are sites that I personally hold in high regard, but I do understand that they both have a very mixed reaction depending on peoples experiences.

Ebuyer is a site where you can buy different technological branded goods. This can range from computers to laptops to digital cameras. It really has a variation much like PC world or even comet, although without the dishwashers and microwaves etc that Comet sells.

All the main brands like Acer, Fujitsu and lots of others are sold at Ebuyer. The prices are very competitive and I feel this is mainly down to the overheads costs being less. Imagine that Comet has to pay labour to their selling staff plus all the extra costs of keeping their many stores open. Ebuyer does not have to do this so can therefore afford to keep lower prices. I would say on the whole the prices are around the same as the other highstreet stores, however when special deals appear on Ebuyer you have to take advantage of them as the price will be much lower.

I bought a computer a few years back off here and the customer service was helpful in this instance as my product was missing a cable, and they sent the cable out and I received it three days after phoning. Of course I would have expected it to arive in the first place, but I guess no company is perfect, although many claim to be. I have had many problems with Comet, PC world etc in the past, so dont feel that customer service is a specific reason not to go to Ebuyer. The only slight downside is the site is a bit cluttered and has remained so for many years, so increasing the interaction with the user on this site may result on more customers and hence higher profits.

I would recommend checking Ebuyer out if you are looking to buy a Computer or a Laptop, or even update part of your computer, like the sound or graphics card. You may find a great deal on there, or maybe you wont, but you will never know unless you check the site out.
