I've never bought anything really big from the internet before, so I was quite nervous about trying it. Oh sure, I've bought books and DVD's but it doesn't seem so bad loosing £20 if you get a bum site. However, last week I needed to buy three wise-screen TV's and deceided to take the plunge.

I canvassed opinion from collegues and the few that had bought this kind of thing from the web were generally satisfied with the service they had received. So I jumped in and started to surf.

I'd done some research before hand in Curry's so I'd narrowed down my choices into a manangeble list. This is essential when buying this kind of product on-line as not all the web-sites have the same stock. I tried a few and happened across electricaldiscountuk.co.uk

A very user freindly front greeted me. Terms & Conditions, After Sales Service, Returns Policy etc were all highlighted for easy access. All the goods were split into recognisable catagories and therefore I found it very easy to find the type of thing I was looking for. The product information could be better, but it's adequate if you know what you're lookign for. When I'd found the exact product I was searching for, I made a note, and still being slightly chicken, gave them a ring.

The sales representative was extremely helpful and freindly and even gave me free next day delivery because I purchased three. This is usually £19, so it was worth having. The price of the item was a good £250 cheaper than Curry's etc and I'm pretty sure those guys wouldn't have agreed to free delivery.

The normal delivery terms are free 48 hour delivery.

The goods arrived as promised, next day, and in perfect working order with all the pieces included. (It's a miricle).

All in all, a very easy to use web-site, backed with an extensive product range and very helpful staff. What more could you want?
