Advantages: Good selection of goods (too good perhaps)

Disadvantages: Logistics seem to have lost the plot

Having planned a new kitchen I searched the web for the best prices on appliances (using froogle.co.uk of course) and Empire Direct came out cheapest. So far, so good. And let's stay on the positive. The fridge turned up bang on time and was perfect - that could be because all logistics were done by Samsung. The washer/dryer I tried to order hadn't been in production for ages and it took several calls just to get my money back for a product not stocked for months - and still on their web site. The hob failed to turn up at its first delivery. At second delivery it was broken and only on a third try was it OK. The chimney turned up second time lucky. You'll need patience for this lot and don't think about complaining.

Summary: Bad logistics, but good prices
