Having previously walked past several Republic stores, I was put off their clothing because of the way there store is presented. It seemed almost intimidating.
However, having a wardrobe clearout meant that I needed new clothes. A friend of mine had just purchased a whole load of new clothes online from Republic. So I decided ... to check it out myself.
The website is very well presented, easy search functions and great filters.
I particulary like that fact that customers can give their reviews. This is really helpful when you're unsure about purchases. Thanks to those reviews, I ended up buying several tops a size smaller than my true size, and they fit perfectly. The quality is much better than I expected. In fact, I would say it was pretty good.
The prices of the products are fairly reasonable for what you get. Good quality, fashionable style.
Standard delivery is £2.99, or £1.99 if you purchase at least 2 items.
They have free delivery to your local store for you to collect.
They offer 10% student discount on non-sale items.
Overall, a brilliant store! Read the complete review |

There has been a Bank store in my town for years now but it's always looked a little to try hard for me to want to walk in.
After having a wardrobe clear out, I decided to check out the Bank website to see if there was anything nice I could get my hands on.
I was pretty impressed with the range of brands they stock, ... including Jack Jones and Superdry. Prices aren't as high as many bigger name stores, but they would still bite a chunk out of your wallet unless you get it in the sale.
One of the things that drew me to Bank website was the fact that you could collect the items from store for free. I am a big fan of this 'click and collect' method. It means you pay for the product but not the (sometimes ridiculously high) delivery charges.
I'd advise you to shop on bankfashion online if you like to look hip and current. Perfect for younger people who like to look cool and wear all the brand names.
As for the function of the website, I think that it could improve a little. There have been numerous times when I have seen an item (mainly on sale), it said it was in stock, but once I clicked on it, I would get a message saying that the purchase could not be completed because it was out of stock. This kind of thing really frustrates me. I am surprised that these kinds of website mistakes are allowed to go on for so long.
But if you're looking for the more affordable brand names and the latest fashion, Bank is the way to go. Read the complete review |

I bought a three seater sofa for our guest house on 16.07 and after:
- 1 failed delivery (the courier crew "simply" forgot to load the item and never realised it until they got at my doorstep at 8.15 AM on Saturday morning....) and NO apology offered
- 7 attempt to call the courier company YODEL (beware they ... are really really really poor) and no answer.... not even a voicemail facility offered
- 5 calls at the 0800 number where very polite but utterly powerless advisers and supervisors apart from sympathising profusely, they could only offer to re-arrange the delivery for a week later when guests are staying at the property, again between 7 and 9 AM, just as the courier told them with NO flexibility to choose a slot time...
- 0 (zero) goodwill gestures or helpful options offered whatsoever. I still can't believe that mighty ASDA cannot "kindly" ask a shoddy supplier like YODEL to arrange a priority delivery since THEY made the mistake in first place.
I am still £300.00 + short, i.e. the sofa was paid on 16/07 and still no sofa, badly needed by our guests!!!
In short ASDA do NOT care a jot about their customers, they just get your money and they could not care less if you are happy with the service received or not
Bad bad bad ASDA, never again! Read the complete review |
