Men - love 'em or hate them you just can't buy for them.
Faced with this problem I resorted to the internet and specifically to firebox.com who claim to sell the stuff men want.
If men want gadgets, gizmos and toys then I can't argue with this bit of advertising. Here you can select from the merchandise that frequents magazines such as FHM, QG and Maxim; computer games, indoor crossbows and drinking accesories etc.
I selected some spring water ice cubes (honest) - described as the ultimate drinking partner for fine Scoth - they comprise of Scottish mineral water enclosed in little plastic sleeves - ready for freezing.
Delivery time was acceptable though not outstanding and the product came securely packaged.
Also contained in the parcel was a mail order catalogue for further products and a chewy sweet - a pleasant and amusing addition.
The sites key phrase is "where men buy stuff" - prehaps it should be "where people buy stuff for men".
