I love flowers, and as my boyfriend never buys me any, I decided to treat myself and pick up a bunch - well actually, truth be told I had to conduct a 'mystery shop' for this website and decided to send the flowers to myself as I had already sent the Interflora ones to my mum! I opted for the Tulip medley as they looked bright and cheerful and came with a free box of chocolates. Priced at £22.95 plus delivery, I expected a decent quality and quantity of flowers and eagerly awaited the delivery. Horrible business to deal with. Never received flowers, and they offered no explanations, and too no accountability. I had to call and email customer service multiple times to even get a refund.

I ordered a beautiful bunch of flowers from flowers direct for my mum's birthday just after christmas. I was a bit concerned that they wouldn't arrive on time considering I wanted them delivered between christmas and new year but there was no need to worry, they were delivered promptly and in perfect condition. The flowers themselves were absolutely gorgeous. It was a large bunch full of yellows and whites and it was so beautifully wrapped in golden cellophane with a big brown fabric bow wrapped around it. I had used flowers direct for a few years (usually for mums birthday or mothers day) and never had any problems. They always delivered when they said they would and the flowers were of a high quality. However, this years mothers day they did a shocking job! The flowers simply didn't turn up! I chased it up and was told that my order had got "lost in the system". After some more chasing and complaining I was offered an alternate date for delivery, and my mum got offered an apology box of chocolates. Absolutely appalling, they accepted our order for Mothers day, only to send us an email on Mothers day to say that they would not be able to deliver until Tuesday. Subsequently on Tuesday we received a secondary email saying that our order could not be completed.
When you try to call someone at flowersdirect it seems that no one is ever there as we have been on hold for 30 minutes at a time over a 4 hour period (around 8 calls in that time).
Disgust with the service. Never use them.
