I have used flowersdirect once and interflora.co.uk once. I must say that the ordering process of interflora.co.uk was easier than flowers direct, but i had a wider range of flowers and gifts to choose from on flowersdirect. I had a few problems ordering the flowers, and tried 3 times to order them, but as a web designer myself, i know that this was because of their web server failing, and so, i didnt hold anything against them for this. I was fortunate to win a hand tied arrangement of flowers from Flowers Direct. You can order from the on line form, or if you are having difficulties you can ring them on a 0800 number, which I had to do. Spoke to a very nice lady, who asked all the right questions, date time of delivery etc. Unlike Interflora, Teleflorist and Flowergram (who relay the orders to authorised local florists) they make up their own orders and send them by courier.
