I visited this web site more out of curiosity than necessity, and also because I am always up for a giveaway. If you register with Food and Drink you will usually get a freebie of some kind. I found this site from a link from a friend. The deal was sign up with us and get a £20 voucher to spend online at a wine shop. Great I thought, brilliant idea, so I duly went along to the website and signed up. While there I clicked on a link that said tell your friends about us and get another £20 voucher to spend on wine. Fantastic I thought. So I went ahead and recommended a lot of my friends to the site. i wish I hadn't now. I have been left looking like a fool. I went to this site after reading the opinion by ziggle. Great I thought, I like wine, but being on a low income I can't always afford to buy it. Well what a fiasco, it turns out the terms and conditions for this offer were not put on the site (in error) and basically you only get 1 £20 voucher to spend. The other vouchers you get for recommending friends turn out to be £20 off an order of £65 or more. NOT what they advertised on their site. I spoke to the Managing Director and he is not a happy bunny either. I've just found a new site called foodndrink.co.uk, which is offering a £20 wine voucher to everyone who registers with the site over the next month!! Not only that, but you also get an extra £20 for every one of your friends who registers!!!! The registration form is really quick (just the normal name, e-mail address, postcode stuff) so it doesn't even take long to do. The selection of wine which you can buy with your vouchers looks good, and it's reasonably priced too.
