Advantages: Cheap jewellery, very easy to understand & reasonable postage costs

Disadvantages: There isnt a huge choice & some small photos are a little unclear

I have been looking to start my own website, I came across this jewellery website when I was out shopping in my local town and noticed that one of my favourite shops had a website that looked very interesting.
My aim was to surf all the clothes and accessories websites I could find so I could put together a profit making website. Instead I ended up making a few purchases along the way and this site was one of the best.

LAYOUT OF THE SITE
Once you click on the site you get a toolbar, which allows you to register, login, contact them and to read details on how to order.
Above that there is a home page key which lets you come back to the homepage whenever you need to and a shopping cart key which allows you to see what is in your shopping cart and to take things out or to check out and pay for your things.
On the lest hand side you get a little sparkly fairy for company and an option to have a read through the privacy policy, questions and answer page or sign up for their newsletter.
On the right hand side you have the list of products in pink and a list of the products featured on the front page in green so they are easy to access.

WHATS FOR SALE?
This site is doesn't have many things for sale but the things they are really good value for money. They have a Bracelets section, a brooches section, an earrings section, jewellery set section, a necklace section and a ring selection. All the prices range from about £1 to about £8. They have a range of trendy fashion jewellery and some more costume pieces.
All the jewellery is setup into appropriate sections and shows a small photo which isn't very clear and to be honest a little fuzzy but when you click on it you see an enlarged photo which shows each item very clearly. The big photos make the jewellery a lot easier to buy.

POSTAGE
This isn't something that I personally used because the shop is so close to me I choose my good over the internet and said I would pay by cheque, so I went down the following day to pay and I was allowed to take the jewellery away with me without having to pay any postage fees which I thought was great. For all you unfortunate ones who don't live near the shop the standard charge I think is about £2 and £2.95 for special delivery. Whichever you prefer you can click the box at the end and process your request quite simply. If you are buying from overseas you can also select the correct postage rates for wherever you are which I thought was very efficient.

HOW TO ORDER?
The simplest way to make an order I found was to have a look at everything on the website and add everything I liked to my shopping cart and then deleted off what I didn't like as much as the other things until I was left with an order I could afford.
I then clicked the complete check out button to confirm my order.
At first I thought I would have to sign up to become a member of the website as it offered you to logon on the front page but when I made my order I didn't have to register at all I just had to give my personal details for delivery simple as that.

HOW TO PAY?
When you come to check out you can sign into your paypal account and transfer your money that way or you can choose to send the money through the post.
It does also mention if you don't like paying over the Internet or through the post you can call the shop up directly and pay over the phone, which I thought was a nice personal service.
All the money is calculate in sterling but you can also change the currency to match your country.

RETURNS POLICY
This isn't something I took advantage of but from what I read on the site Funkydory offer a really good returns policy. If the item is faulty they will reimburse you with the money for delivery and refund your money or send you a replacement. If you just don't like the item you can also send it back which a few of the websites I have purchased from do not. I think it says as long as it is within a week and obviously the don't reimburse that postage cost.

CONCLUSION
Although the website looks quite simple it is very girlie (how it should be ;-) ) and has really good competitive prices.
I think this is a new website and we probably haven't seen it at its best because there isn't a great deal of things on there and it does say bags too but they are not on there (unless I missed them doh!). When I received my order I received a free bracelet and it still says on the site free gift with every order so I think they have not been online long and maybe if your quick to make an order you will get a free gift too.
I really like this website and would love to see how it works out. I will definitely be using it again.
Oh and for all you nosey parkers out there I purchased the green and gold charm bracelet and multi coloured ring and they are purrrfect.

Summary: Excellent website somewhere you can get a bargain
