Newest Review: ... or search engine to find the exact game you are looking for. The purchasing process is also very quick if you already have an account, you can also link your GAME card account allowing you to earn points on your purchases in-store and online. GAME prices online are often cheaper than in-store and it's worth browsing for some bargains when you're next on the website. Unfortunately the deals they have online ARE NOT available in store and twice I've made the mistake of going all the way to a store hoping I can get a bundle which they don't sell. So make sure you phone the store first to check. That said the simplicity of the website along wit... more

Game.co.uk is a great website specialising in gaming and related technology. Building on GAME's reputation for the UKs number one retail game store they have created a website to accompany the brand and make shopping for games even easier. The website is very easy to navigate through categories or search engine to find the exact game you are looking for. Premium Review Game.uk.com, the rundown on the site (716 words)

Game is one of the best known shops in the world. Its reputation has improved because of its wonderful website. I personally love games; the only problem is I find them a bit overpriced at £40. Game offers the latest games at low prices, take Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for example. It will be £40 when it hit?s the stores but on the website it is only £32.99! Homepage The game homepage stores a large amount of information on it. Down the left hand site there is the search bar. Enter any game and it should come up (at a cheap place). Below the search bar is the browse section in which you ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review game.uk.com: Very good game site (379 words)

When my cousin came to stay we were looking on the net for some game sites when we came across this site. We were looking for computer games which we could buy online, my cousin loves his playstation and this seemed to be a very good site. The décor of this site is just excellent for two reasons. First it looks good, the light purple works well and secondly unlike 98% of the game sites, this site loads up remarkably fast. Even tough there’s a lot of text to upload. So, I was instantly impressed with this site. The site caters for most consoles, Playstation, Dreamcast, PCCD-Rom, Playstation 2, Nintendo 64, Gameboy and DVD’s. They have a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A massive warning (176 words)
by - written on 07/05/01 (Useful, 177 readings)

And that warning is thus: DO NOT BUY FROM GAME.UK.COM. Why's this? Why do I unreservedly tell people to go somewhere else? Quite simply, because it'll be cheaper. In the high street, both Game and Electronics Boutique are owned by the same people. You can easily see this buy the way their special offers are always the same, as are their prices, as are the ludicrously low prices they give on part-exchange games. And their websites are virtually identical, not in terms of design, but in terms of price, stocks, and diversity. There is one major difference, however - at eb.uk.com, P&P is free; at game.uk.com it costs £3. If you buy from Game, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review game.uk.com: Best online shopping site for games (497 words)
by - written on 21/03/01 (Very useful, 144 readings)

I started using game.uk.com a few months ago. I had been sent their magazine through the door telling me the most recent games out and prices and stuff. I was looking to buy two computer games Fifa 2001 and Smackdown 2. I looked around Jungle.com and Amazon.co.uk and found that game was actually the cheapest including postage and packaging. Fifa 2001 was £27.99 and pre-ordering Smackdown 2 cost £28.99, which was an excellent price. I just had to fill in my details and put in my credit card number (yes it is very safe) and I could even use my special game reward card. On the Game website ---------------- Game sell games for all consoles and ...  Read the complete review
