Advantages: Sells everything to do with gaming, Low prices, Reward card

Disadvantages: Registering

Game is one of the best known shops in the world. Its reputation has improved because of its wonderful website. I personally love games; the only problem is I find them a bit overpriced at £40. Game offers the latest games at low prices, take Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for example. It will be £40 when it hit?s the stores but on the website it is only £32.99!

Homepage
The game homepage stores a large amount of information on it. Down the left hand site there is the search bar. Enter any game and it should come up (at a cheap place). Below the search bar is the browse section in which you choose your console. Say you chose the PS2 Link; the next page will contain the latest releases, currently Spiderman 2 (just £29.99!). On the same place where the Browse category is, it changes to objects about the console chosen. The links vary from Strategy Guides to A-Z Listing. Near the top of the homepage there is a deal of the day. Every day the game changes today (19th August) it is Project Gotham Racing 2. Usually priced at £40 normally, it is down to £19.99! The only problem with this is that the deal of the day is only on 1 Console. So if you were looking for Project Gotham 2 on PS2 and the deal of the day was on Xbox, it is basically tough luck. Down the middle of the page it is the latest releases on all consoles. This is very useful because you only need click once and you?re looking at the game you?ve wanted for ages. A good feature. On the right hand side of the screen you have the games that are coming soon. All of these games have been chopped in price, most from £40 to £32.99. Further on the Right are adverts, both for the games coming soon and games magazines that are in relevance to the website.

Membership
I currently have a
Reward Membership card. When I tried to register it, I said type in the reward card number. I did this only to find out you need a pin Number aswell. When I clicked on the forgotten pin Icon, it asked me to fill in my Reward card number again aswell as my surname. When I filled this in I submitted it, only to find that there was no match. That meant I had to go all the way through registration. I was then taken to the New Users registration area. By this time I was pretty annoyed as I had my Game Card Lying right in front of me. After eventually filling in the requested answers, I clicked submit. I then received an email confirming my registration. I then continued shopping.

Offers
One of the main reasons I decided to join game was the great savings on games. Clicking on one of the adverts on the Right hand side of the screen it came up with all the offers. Firstly you needed to choose which console you where looking in. Being the Owner of a PS2, I clicked on the PS2 Link. The search came up with 45 offers. On that list of offers there were a few recent games (Van Helsing, and Max Payne 2 the most recent). All the games are priced at around £20, which isn?t bad for them brand new.

My Experience
Admittedly, this was an in-store buy, not on the web. The same offer should be found on the web though. Walking into my nearest game store (Kettering!), I was searching every where for a Championship Manager Strategy guide. To my delight I found it, £12.99. I was prepared to buy it when the person at the till asked me if I had a game card. At that time I didn?t. He then shown me the £6 sticker on it and said that was the price for Game card owners. I then signed up for £3, brin
ging the total of the Guide to £9. Saving almost £4 and gaining a Game reward card in the process. I was delighted with my savings.

Overall
Very well laid out website, sells almost everything to do with games. Would be my first choice for buying games on the internet. Would recommend to everybody, as long as you have no problems registering your card! Highly Recommended.

I was going to say that I'll telly my hubby about this but on second thoughts, I'm not going to bother. He buys enough PS2 games already!
Good op :o)
