Gameplay.comNewest Review: ... although this isn't really important, it makes it look less professional when you compare it to Play, Amazon or HMV. The site caters for all platforms, including the PC and its prices vary a lot, like CD WOW. What I mean by this is that it has really good deals on some games but then others that you would expect to be cheap are still close to retail price. Their pre-orders are pretty competitive though, with Halo 3: ODST at £29.99 and some other upcoming releases cheaper than most places. One thing I've always noticed is that Gameplay are rarely out of stock. You'll always find what you are looking for and delivery is very quick. It's a... more |

The first thing you may notice when going on Gameplay is that it doesn't have the nicest design for a website. It's fairly easy to navigate and more or less user-friendly but it is not very attractive. It's very basic with quite a poor banner/logo and although this isn't really important, it makes it look less professional when you compare it to Play, Amazon or HMV. Gameplay is a website that specialises in games (Shock!), and sells games in all modern platforms such as PC, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PSP, DS and others. *Website Layout* The layout of the website is very good, it has a general theme of purple and black banners with white a white background and black text. The website is very easy to navigate, everything is categorised well and so saves time having to look through different game titles, the website also has a search bar so it can take little over a few second to find the game you want. *Variety of Games* Gameplay is a website which is always one of the first to ... The gameplay site has not changed much over the years ever since I first stumbled upon it through another site advertising gameplay as part of a promotion. Back then, about 5 years ago, gameplay was top of the league as there weren't very many other online gaming shops were around to compete with them. Gameplay set a revolutionary trend in knocking off at least £5 off high street shop prices, which would otherwise be the only destination in which a gamer must grovel to in order to receive their latest copy of Mortal Kombat. Nowadays, the name "Gameplay.com" has almost become obsolete. It does not even merit a position in many price comparison ... Read the complete review

Last year I decided to avoid the stress of running around town on Christmas eve looking for last minute presents and instead opted to be a little more organised than previous years and to do all the Christmas shopping on the net!! I knew my boyfriend really wanted Grand Theft Auto 3 for the PS2 so the hunt was on to find the best deal, I tried the obvious sites such as ‘Amazon’ and ‘Bol’ and checked the price of the game plus the delivery charges, but then I came across this site at www.gameplay.com. Instantly on loading gameplay.com, I could see that this could well be the site I’d been looking for, with all the current ... Read the complete review
