The Gamecube is a newish console that aint been out long. Its also the best console just now or atleast one of the best.

The console itself is a pretty good size. Compared to an old console such as the Nes or even the PS2 its much smaller. Its also light so thats another added bonus. When buying this console you have two choices of either Purple or Black. I picked Black myself but their both the same.

At the front of the Gamecube is four controller ports. So you can have up to four players at once playing. At the back the adapter plugs in. The adapter is bigger than expected but doesnt really put you off. At the side is a bit where air blows out. This is to cool the console down i suppose. At the top are three buttons. The first to open the lid, the second to turn the console on and also the third to press reset. Also at the back of the Gamecube is a handle so you can carry your Gamecube. Bad point is if you lift it this way all your wires will drag along the ground. Unless you take them all off first.

One thing i didnt like was that when buying the console you need to buy the scart lead separate. This is a rite con i think. So unless you have a newish tv or an old Nintendo console, you will need to buy a scart lead. I dont know how much they are. I wouldnt be surprised if they arent cheap though!!

The games for the Gamecube are excellent. They are like mini disks and dont seem to scratch easily. They also come in great boxes and have excellent instructions. Also game prices are decent enough.

I just got the console and dont really know much about it. I do know that you can use it for the net and am sure there are a number of accessories for this too!!

Overall excellent console and games. Like i said though bad thing is the scart lead. Also i think the carry handle is pointless. Never the less excellent.

Also there might be more than two colours of the Gamecube but am not sure. Maybe someone can share some light on this?
