Before now I had never heard of this website, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to write about it to share my experiences.

The website sells a range of hair and skincare products by well known, professional brands. I was actually looking for a particular brand of hair products which is how I came across the website, simply by googling the product I was looking for. This website is actually cheaper than purchasing product in hair and beauty salons and is also cheaper than other websites. The main page is black in colour and has a list of popular products on this page including Kerastase, Tigi, Slender tone, Redken, Fudge and more. On the left hand side you can choose specific product simply by clicking on the brand. Down the bottom of the page you will find contact information, FAQ's and any other information you might want to know. Your shopping basket is located on the top right hand corner and you can click on this anytime to view your basket. Currently it states on the website that it's free delivery on all UK orders. On the left hand side you can search by brand or choose a brand in each category. I have gone into a bit more details about what brands are in each section below:
Hair Care - Alpecin, Babyliss Pro, Fudge, ghd, korres, matrix, men-u, milkshake, osis, prive, redken, tigiuniq one and more.
Skincare - American Crew, Bliss, Burts Bees, Clarins, Cowshed, Elemis, Garnier, Lubatti, Nuxe and more.
Make Up & Nail Care - Becca, Blinc, Essie, Hissyfit, La La Lashes, Maybelline and more.
Tanning - Clarins, Fake Bake, He-Shi, St Tropez, Ultrasun, Xen Ten and more.
Accessories - Eylure, Kent Brushes, Razor Pit, Tangle Teezer and more.
Bath & Home - Jane Packer, Laura Ashley, Natural Sea Sponge and more.
I actually compared the prices of the products I wanted to purchase on this website against other websites and this one turned out to be cheaper than most of the other websites I had checked. Although I chose the items I wanted straight away I decided to browse some of the other items on the website as some of the brands I had never heard of before. Some of the brands on here are quite expensive so this may not be the type of website for everyone.

It was easy to find the brand of product I wanted by clicking on the brand name under its specific section. This brings up a range of different products from this once brand where you can select the product you wish to view or buy. It shows you a picture of the product and gives you're the price of the product as well. You can choose to add this to your basket now or you can click on the item to view information about the product. Here you can also read reviews about the product too. Simply click add to basket and the item will be added to your basket. You can then choose to continue to shop or go to the checkout. Once you have finished shopping you can simply click on your basket to process to the checkout and pay for your items. Here you can see the delivery costs and you will be asked to enter your postcode and select your county from the drop down list. You can remove items from your basket if you wish simply by clicking the X button next to the item. You can log in if you already have an account or you will need to create an account if you have never shopped on the website before. This doesn't take long and you only need to fill in your address, e-mail address and also create a password for your account. As soon as I did this I received an e-mail welcoming me to the website. You can pay using any type of card and all transactions are done via sage pay for security. You can also pay through PayPal which is what I did as I have had my account details stolen before when shopping online so since then I have always been very weary of using websites I don't often use a lot. You can choose to change the delivery option and get quicker delivery by paying for it. I stuck with the free UK delivery which means my items will be delivered within 6 working days. This was fine for me as I wasn't in a rush for the items anyway, so long as I got them. As soon as I paid I received a confirmation e-mail with my details including the items I had ordered and the total price of the items.
Waiting for Delivery

Three days after placing the order I received an e-mail stating my order had been despatched. It gave me my order reference number and the chance to view the status of the consignment. When I clicked on this link on the e-mail it sent me to the TNT website, this was handy as at least I now knew who was delivering the package. On this page it asked me to log in. I didn't have a TNT account so I have no idea why it was asking me to log in. I decided not to go any further and just wait a few days for the package to be delivered. This was a little annoying as I couldn't actually track the package to see where it was but as I got the despatch e-mail I presumed I would receive it within the next few days. It had now been 3 days since I received the despatch e-mail and I thought I would have received my items my now . . . the truck must be going at a snail's pace! I decided I would wait to see if my items arrived over the weekend and if I had received nothing I would send them an e-mail on Monday to enquire the whereabouts of my parcel. I logged onto their website to look at my details and although I had received an e-mail from them with a tracking number which takes me to the TNT website, it stated under my account that my items had despatched and would be delivered by royal mail and to allow up to 6 days for delivery. It looks like I would have to wait until the 22nd before I could query my order.
Receiving the Items

I received my items on the 19th, which was 5 days after I received the despatch e-mail. My items were packed well in a box with some air filled bags in for protection. All the items I ordered were there and none of the items were damaged. There was an invoice/delivery note inside the box confirming my order details and how to send items back for an exchange. As I got all the items I ordered I wouldn't need to send any items back so everything with my order was fine.

Items can be returned as long as they are in their original packaging and the manufacturer seals are not broken. If the packaging or seals are broken or open you cannot return your product unless faulty. If products are faulty, you can send them back and they will replace them free of charge and also reimburse postage costs as well. For more detailed information you can read all this information on their website.

This website is great for buying hair and beauty products that you may not find in stores such as Boots and Superdrug. Although some of the items on here are expensive as they are special brands, I found this website cheaper in comparison to other websites that sell the some of the same products. Using the website was easy and the website is very quick to loads pages. Viewing your basket and adding/removing things is easy and the checkout process only takes a few minutes. I was disappointed with not being able to track my order as stated in the e-mail even though it had provided me with a tracking number and a link for the TNT website. I was surprised after receiving this e-mail that the parcel actually came via Royal Mail. This is a little misleading; how-ever luckily someone was in to take the parcel for me anyway. The whole experience with shopping on the website was good, including the prices of the products, but I am going to take away 2 stars due to the poor tracking function and the fact that it actually came via Royal Mail and not TNT as stated. I would shop on the website again.
