Advantages: Good quality ingredients, good range of gifts, many varieties
Disadvantages: No caramel bar available, pricey
Normally, I don't bother with 'organic', this is about the only product I do bother with simply because it is so much better than ordinary chocolate taste wise.
Overall, I think Green and Black's still sell the finest chocolate bars that I have ever came across. Their standard milk chocolate is 34% cocoa, which makes it slightly richer than your standard bar of dairy milk. Their white chocolate is also very fine quality and is about 30% cocoa with a lot of milk. Here they avoid the trap of replacing cocoa with sugar as is the case with milkybars.
Their website is a good one and has lots of gift ideas if you're wanting a present, they even have a gift finder tool on their website to make sure you select the perfect present. As well as chocolate there is also some organic wine and beer on the site.
It's a simple website with a decent range of merchandise and good for gifts, if not a little pricey. Since being taken over by Cadbury though, there prices have gone up very sharply and they also stopped making their Caramel bar -which had a unique taste due to the inclusion of small amounts of alcohol and also apparently sea salt. This is quite a let down.
There's also a decent sister site for more on the company at greenandblacks.com, which outlines their ethical policies and company history amongst other information.
Summary: Still the best chocolate on the market
