Greenmetropolis is a great site if you like to read books and also if you want to sell the books that you have read. i have been a member now of this site for 12 months.

In order to list books for sale you need to register and open an account. It is very easy to do. To list the books you have for sale you select the sell a book option. You then enter the ISBN - the number next to the barcode. You need to select an option to describe the condition of the book ie acceptable, good excellent...Once you have input the ISBN greenmetropolis is able to retrieve the details of the book which includes a picture of the book and details / reviews of the book. That's it - hey presto the book is now avaiable on the site to sell.

There are no charges for listing books for sale. You are paid £3.00 for every book sold plus any postage payment if it is a heavy book.

Books cost £3.75 to buy. Green metropolis pay £3 to the seller and 5p to the Woodland Trust for every book sold..
When a book is sold you are alerted by email...you are given the buyers name and address. Simply pop the book in a padded envelope and send to the buyer together with a note which you print from your email. Once the buyers payment method has been cleared you are able to withdraw your money into your bank account. However you can only get payments once a month to cut down costs.
