Half Price Jewellers is an excellent, cheap shop for jewellery. By far the cheapest jeweler on the high street, I find it mind-boggling how they can offer such low prices; I bought a gold bracelet from here that was £200 in H Samuels, for £100. Obviously part of it is the location, which is at the cheaper end of town, away from the mall. Also, the interior is rough, with all items behind glass, and limited space. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. HIGH STREET ROBBERY. I presume Half price jewellers are adequate for ready to go 'buy as you see it' purchases, however having paid a deposit and a further payment for a diamond engagement ring to be created in platinum as opposed to the original white gold, there customer service revealed its ugly face. The claws varied in size and shape and looked very shoddy. The assistant advised it could be 'reworked'. Would you accept this for a ring of a lifetime?? They have advised they will be keeping all funds, not just the original deposit. This is both illegal and also robbery. Again AVOID AT ALL ... Read the complete review
