A word of warning this review might upset vegetarians, lovers of Bambi and people who adore seeing Rudolph and his friends pulling Santa’s sleigh. This is for people who love meat and especially venison which was the meat of the kings. Picture a whole deer roasting in front of huge fires, the savoury smell filling the air…. But moving onto modern times when we are often encouraged to eat less red meat, venison is a very healthy alternative to beef, as it is lower in calories, cholesterol and fat than most cuts of beef.
