site looks good but just can't deliver (hmv.co.uk)

Disadvantages: have to wait endlessly on the phone for enquiries

I agree with Koll. I have used hmv.co.uk for the first time this year. Both items are out of stock, although that was not apparant when I ordered as it is on many other sites. I have just called after trying to get through on the phone several times (in which the message you hear when on hold tells you that you can use the website for help too - which is only FAQ not another avenue for answers on your own position). They couldn't tell me when they are likely to get in the stock or whether this is likely to be before or after Christmas. I do lots of online shopping and this is the worst site I have tried!

Summary: use another site instead - there are loads more honest with better communications
