I've been using hmv.co.uk for all of my purchases of CDs and DVDs for the past year or so, mainly originally because I can earn a fair amount of cashback through a cashback website, and they offered a decent percentage of your spend back.

However, aside from the above benefits, I've always found that hmv's online prices for CDs and DVDs have been really competitive, and in a lot of cases cheaper than the competition, and as they also offer free postage I'm really happy to continue giving them my business.

The products I buy have always arrived in good time (typically 3-4 days), so perhaps if you are in a real rush for your goods shop elsewhere, but if you can afford to wait I think it's a cost-effective option.

The packaging of the CDs and DVDs is also good, in recyclable cardboard which keeps the items well protected from the postal system.

I've experienced difficulties once with hmv.co.uk when ordering a CD which to be fair, wasn't a recent released & therefore I would have expected it to be quite hard to get hold of, but I received an email within two days of ordering to advise me of the item being out of stock, and providing an easy process to cancel the item if I wished to order it elsewhere.

In summary, I would recommend this website, a good service at decent prices.
