Advantages: good round prices

Disadvantages: mostly ready meals

hmmm, well now the iceland website/shops dont do online shopping you have to be content with going around the shop purchasing over £25 of goods & walking out with nothing to await it's arrival at you home some hours later...

other than the strange feeling of going home empty handed you also have to play guess the delivery time. Our local store offers two or three hours delivery slots and so far, every shop has arrive 1.5 hours later than the end of the time slot...we're have learned to request the slot earlier than we want & have yet to be caught out.

The food can be great, cook from frozen diced meat is an example, there is a lot of prepared ready meals and is more focused on pop it in over wait 30 mins & eat than actually cooking & ingredients so now we have a baby we use it less as we try to make our own meals. Every so often though (especially christmas) this is the place to go to to fill up the freezer and prepare for guests. Also worth noting is that you often find crisps (at time of writing walkers 16 pack for £2) and drinks (fruit shoots £1) milk & cheese at better prices than your standard supermarket so I always go to iceland first & then go to tesco to get the rest rather than the other way round....

Summary: ok once in a while
