I like looking for bargains when I am doing my weekly grocery shopping and try to get some good cheap offers. One of the shops I like to go to is Iceland. The website is at Iceland.co.uk and is very bright, eyecatching and very easy to navigate. It states on the website that there is free home delivery when you shop in ...  Read the complete review

It has to count as a peskier example of one of those truths, universally acknowledged, that as soon as you find a product sold at 'Iceland' freezer shop that you really, really like, they'll invariably soon stop stocking it. I encountered this first time round with a truly delicious Thai frozen prawn dim-sum / dumpling soup product ...  Read the complete review

This is my favourite time of the year, getting prepared for Christmas and Iceland plays a big part in that. Now I know that all the major Supermarkets do their own "Party Range" starting at around £1 a box, but Iceland excel themselves as they don't churn out the same old food that's just been reboxed to look different. Apart ...  Read the complete review

hmmm, well now the iceland website/shops dont do online shopping you have to be content with going around the shop purchasing over £25 of goods & walking out with nothing to await it's arrival at you home some hours later... other than the strange feeling of going home empty handed you also have to play guess the delivery time. Premium Review Iceland.co.uk: Excellent (348 words)

Iceland is an excellent place to shop if you have a freezer. The low prices make it easier to feed a family well, and they have such a huge variety of products. I used to like the fact that they'd deliver as long as I spent more than twenty-five quid! Every two weeks, I'd mosey on down to Iceland, stock up on a load of goodies and have it ...  Read the complete review

Iceland is an excellent shop where you can buy a range of foods including frozen food, crisps and snacks and you can even buy household products such as toilet paper and cleaning materials. Iceland stores can be spotted from a mile away as they have a bright red logo with large white letters displaying the 'Iceland' logo. I guess the 'ice' in the ...  Read the complete review

Iceland is a food store found on the high street which sells mostly frozen foods at very low prices. Iceland is an overall excellent food store, with a huge range of products which have very reasonable price tags and are simple to prepare (a lot are microwave meals.) So this store is great for busy parents, students, and people who just ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cheap and free delivery but you can't buy online (356 words)
by - written on 07/10/08 (Very useful, 184 readings)

Iceland is a high street frozen food and grocery shop. Prices are veery low but in many cases so is the quality. Thinks like fish and frozen vegetables are excellent value at Iceland but I have found that care needs to be taken when choosing sausages, burgers and meat products. It is fine if you have a family that will eat ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Iceland.co.uk

No complaints with the food aspect of the store but I found them wholly uninterested when I needed a replacement part for my freezer ( still within the one year g'tee period). They referred me to the manufacturer despite the fact that, legally, the retailer is responsible. After, referring me thus they would not respond to further enquiries. So, good deals on food, but don't expect good customer care.

I was a really big fan of Iceland until they stopped doing home delivery on the Internet. Im not sure if this was a nationwide thing or whether it was just the Swansea stores. Anyway as far as a store goes, excellent choice, excellent value and they still have the Home delivery option if you cant carry your bags home with you. Thumbs up!

Crowned Review Wonderful Iceland (1720 words)

Living in a rural area, I have come to realise that not many of the supermarkets actually offer a home delivery service for my groceries, but out of the two that do, Iceland is easily the best and most competitive service. I shall do my best to explain why. Our local Iceland is in the heart of our nearest town, and I do not use it as ...  Read the complete review

Sticky toffee pudding Mother Hubbard? (1462 words)

It's not been a good week. My car is on the fritz and I couldn't get to the supermarket. The cupboards were bare - nothing left, not even the tins of goose liver pate and game soup that came in the Christmas hamper and no one fancied. Zilch. Nada. Nowt. Old Mother Hubbard syndrome. Time for drastic action. And what do I do in ...  Read the complete review

I had never tried online shopping before. Apart from the occasional purchase on Blackstar, and the odd bid on eBay, I had been very wary of handing out my credit/debit card details out on the internet. I had heard such scary stories and, being such a technophobe, I thought that the conventional way of shopping was for me. So it was with ...  Read the complete review

On the opinion of kes33 I decided to check out the online shopping at Iceland. It just goes to show how the experience of others is good guidance. The site is and does all that kes33 says.
