I was beginning to think I was gonna have to buy every dvd I wanted to see online, and was thinking this was gonna be quite considerable expense, and then I remembered my local library, they used to stock cd's vidoes as well as books, and so I thought it would be worthwhile having a look and see if they now did dvd's as well. ... more

... It was the best move I made. Not only am I supporting my local community and helping to make sure my local library ism't closed down through lack of use, but I can also hire a dvd for 7 days for the princely sum of £2.50. Doesnt matter if they ...more

When I first got my brand new dvd player, I trundled around the local shops to see what dvd bargains there were to be had, I hunted high and low, but found nothing I was prepared to spend my precious dosh on. I went to the few dvd rental shops around, like Blockbuster, but refused point blank to pay £4.50 (ish) for 24 hours hire of a dvd, especailly as sometimes my partner working shifts cannot guarantee staying awake if its been a hard day and an early start. I was beginning to think I was gonna have to buy every dvd I wanted to see online, and was thinking this was gonna be quite considerable expense, and then I remembered my local library, they used to stock cd's ...  Read the complete review

If you are someone who loves watching movies on your DVD player but lead a busy life and as such do not get time to go to your local video shop very often then the In-Movies website is an absolute godsend. From costs ranging from £15-£25 you can rent an unlimited number of DVDs each month, with them being delivered to your door by post. The difference in price relates to the number of DVDs you can rent at the same time, with two DVDs at £15 up to five at £25 per month. The range of DVDs is excellent, with all tastes catered for. The website is divided into categories: Action, Adult, Arthouse, Childrens, Classic, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Foreign ...  Read the complete review

You’d be forgiven for thinking this is some kind misunderstanding, but in fact it is true and I can vouch for it working correctly. MEMBERSHIP ========== Membership is easy; simply enter you details . Decided whether you wish to pay monthly by standing order or credit card or in deed yearly by either. The monthly cost is £15 the yearly is £130. However, I always prefer to pay in smaller amounts usually as I tend to err on cautious side. Once enrolled as a member you now need to create a list of your favourite DVD’s. For membership you need to be a minimum of age 18, and a UK resident. You can have as many or as few DVD’s each ...  Read the complete review

If you are one of these people who goes down to your local Blockbuster every night and you rent a DVD to watch, you are spending too much money! I recently found this site, they offer DVD rental by post. So this is how it works. You pay £15 a month, taken either from your bank or charged to your credit card. You can have as many DVD rentals as you like for your £15, you are allowed to have 3 at a time. You make a list of up to 50 titles from the hundreds that they have on their site and put them into the order that you would like to receive them. The top three that are in stock are sent out to you with prepaid return envelopes, when you have watched them you ...  Read the complete review
