I ordered and paid for a washing machine from Index.co.uk on Wednesday 17 November, got an email from them saying delivery was on Tuesday 23 November (no confirming phone call that they said we would get). It didn't arrive, so we phoned mid afternoon, were told it was on its way, phoned again at 7pm, told the same and then at 7.50 they phoned us to say that the couriers had run out of time and returned it to the depot!
