I've been dealing with InterDVD quite a while. They used to be a good service offering R1(&R2) DVDs (at slightly higher prices but with fast (oftentimes next day) delivery times). But then things started to go wrong...
The first problem was when they updated their website and suddenly my Barclays connect card couldn't be processed by their web-based ordering system. Numerous emails ensued often trailing away due to an indifferent customer service and eventually this problem was resolved, some weeks later. Well I'll keep em as backup I said and then came the opportunity to use 'em.
I was in the market for the limited edition of the R1 box-set of 'Heathers'. Couldn't find it on my usual shopping site so I thought I'd look it up on InterDVD - success £26.99 shipping in 2-3 days. A week later no such title and so I wrote a quick email - no response. I gave 'em a few more days - another email, no response. Finally late on a Thursday I phoned 'em and talked to one of their sales rep's. Firstly I asked - why no response to my emails. The answer (delivered in an irritating monotone) about a secretary opening a virus-ridden email and infecting their whole setup. OK, what's the delay with my order I asked - well the title is proving one of the hardest to find..... but we expect to have it in next Monday. Wednesday of next week I phoned. Still can't get it - so I cancelled the order and got it from another online source - Disc Emporium in 2 days - same price. But the annoying this if you look on their website today then it's available @ 29.99.
So overall I can't recommend 'em but they're out there and I though you should know.
