Its my mums birthday this weekend and i love spoiling her because shes the best mum ever! She loves flowers and i am a bit skint so was going to buy her a few bunches from my local market and try and arrange them nicely myself to save money. Interflora is, of course, the most famous way of sending flowers to a loved one or friend. The brand is so well known, with a good reputation, that the unexpected appearance of an Interflora delivery person at the door can be a special experience for many people. I have used Interflora for over seven years now, with hardly any problems at all until this week (but more of that later). Interflora is a very well established company where you can order online at www.interflora.co.uk & inside at any interflora florist shops. The cost of the flowers at a first glance do look very expensive & can be off putting to some people, but the quality of the flowers that are sent are a very high standard. As well as the flowers being very good quality, not to mention very fresh, they are always beautifully presented with some of the nicest packaging around. I ordered a bouquet on the Interflora website on Wednesday and specified that I wanted the flowers delivered on Friday using their delivery date calendar. I was completely unaware that the delivery date I selected meant absolutely nothing.

The flowers weren't delivered on Friday and nor were they delivered on Saturday as went in the wrong van. Hopefully they'll get there today (Monday).

When I complained to Interflora I was told that I should have read the terms and conditions that state the delivery 'may take place within 48 hours of your preferred delivery date'. This info should be made clearer when you place the order.The wesbite is misleading and the customer service I receieved was awful. I was told twice that a manager would call me back and each time I received no call.

Don't ever use Interflora!!

Interflora is a really good website. On the front page of it you can choose where you would like to be directed to and also have all their best selling items on the front page. it's a very easy site to use. You can choose what way to shop by e.g by flower range, occasion, gift type etc. Once you've selected a menu from the list it will take you to all the flowers/gifts in that range. You can scan through them, all have a little bit of information under each photo and the price.
