I ordered an integrated refigerator on 11/11/00 from intersaver and received confirmation of the order by email, with promise of a delivery date between 6 - 9 days. My credit card was debited on 13/11/00, but I received no further communication from intersaver. After many calls, I finally received a further email on 4/12/00, stating that the item had been out of stock, but that a new delivery date had been arranged within 6 - 9 days. My wife and I were recently looking to buy a new Dyson DC04 Absolute to replace our old upright. We visited all the likes of Curry's Comet Tempo Powerhouse and were surprised and disappointed to find that they were all asking £249 or more. We could have a plain DC04 for £209 or an old DC01 for £159 or so but the newer filter DC04 Absolute was simply out of our price range. We decided to have a look on the internet , letsbuyit.com got the price down to just under £220 but when we went to intersaver.com , we were very pleased to see that they were quoting £221 with a £25 cash back cheque. I must admit to being a little sceptical to buying on-line. I don't have a problem with fraud since my Credit Card protects me against this , my problem relates to Service from a Company I'm not used to. My wife and I have been looking for a new Vac recently and like most people , plumped for a Dyson DC04 Absolute. Most of the high-street stores were quoting between £240 and £260 which when my previous Cleaner cost less than £100 10 years ago seemed a little steep. I have just purchased a Dyson vacuum cleaner from intersaver, and I have been very impressed with the company. It is refreshing to be able to use a company that restores some consumer confidence in the net. The prices of the merchandise on offer are very good, but the site periodically offers a cashback option on some items which makes the prices very good value for money. I ended up buying a Dyson DC04 for £187, an amount which beats high street prices into the ground, and has not been bettered anywhere I have seen on the net. I recently purchased a Dyson DC04 from intersaver as it was £30 cheaper than anywhrer else I could find. And to top that I also got a £25 cashback voucher. Ive now ordered 2 more for friends and got the £25 on those too. This makes them over £50 cheaper than I could get @ Currys, Argos..high ST etc. I will be checking back here next time I or anyone I know wants electrical goods and I dare say they will be cheaper than the high street.
