Advantages: Quick , easy and Cheap

Disadvantages: Too easy to spend Money

I must admit to being a little sceptical to buying on-line. I don't have a problem with fraud since my Credit Card protects me against this , my problem relates to Service from a Company I'm not used to.

My wife and I have been looking for a new Vac recently and like most people , plumped for a Dyson DC04 Absolute. Most of the high-street stores were quoting between £240 and £260 which when my previous Cleaner cost less than £100 10 years ago seemed a little steep.

I spent some time going through various on-line retailers ; Argos.co.uk , Bigsave.com , letsbuyit.com but ended up at Intersaver.co.uk.

They were quoting £215.12 with a £25 Cashback after delivery. I placed the order and only two working days later , the Dyson arrived. Excellent Service.

I returned to their web-site , completed my claim for the Cashback and after another three working days the cheque arrived.

This meant that on a net basis , the Dyson had cost me about £190 , a massive £50/£70 saving over most of the high street. So whats the catch ? There isn't one as far as I can see , just great service at an even better price.

Three Cheers for On-line Shopping , I am all for it.

Unfortunately , looks like this might be another On-Line retailer that has failed.

This would be a great shame.
