My wife and I were recently looking to buy a new Dyson DC04 Absolute to replace our old upright.

We visited all the likes of Curry's Comet Tempo Powerhouse and were surprised and disappointed to find that they were all asking £249 or more.

We could have a plain DC04 for £209 or an old DC01 for £159 or so but the newer filter DC04 Absolute was simply out of our price range.

We decided to have a look on the internet , letsbuyit.com got the price down to just under £220 but when we went to intersaver.com , we were very pleased to see that they were quoting £221 with a £25 cash back cheque. I don't know why they had to do it this way but this worked out at a net figure of only £196.

Buying was very straightforward and the delivery only took 4 days.
