johnlewis.comNewest Review: ... I need to hide, and saw this gorgeous funky polka dot one for £18. John Lewis sell quality items, they are not cheap but I feel the goods are of a high quality you can buy clothes for all the family, household items, furniture and gifts. They also have a special offers section at the top of the site. What I love about the site is the tabs at the top of your page, as they drop down and you ... more |

I recently received a few vouchers as a gift for our wedding and was pleased to find out I could use them online at www.johnlewis.com as I don't have a John Lewis Store near me. The site is fast loading, simple and to the point which is what I like in a website, I hate those sites that take ages to load when you just want to browse with ease, and John Lewis site is easy to navigate, there is the usual search box so you can find anything in particular that you are looking for. I had my eye on a table cloth, I know it's not the most exciting thing to buy but I have an awful table that I need to hide, and saw this gorgeous funky polka dot one for £18. ... The long running saga of our broken washing machine finally came to an end last weekend. For those of you who are interested, please see my review of the Hoover HNL6166. So in the end I decided not to repair the old girl, but instead opted, on the recommendation of a qualified washing machine engineer, to buy one from John Lewis. Here is my experience. John Lewis are a well known department store which have stores located throughout the UK. They sell everything you would expect from a large department store, and this is also reflected in the website. The site is tastefully set out and easy to navigate. All deliveries for orders over £30 are free of charge. For ... Read the complete review

I'm always looking for new things for my home, so the John Lewis website is one that I visit quite often, but it's only recently that I've made a purchase from them. ~What they sell~ I'm sure most of you will have heard of John Lewis, it's a huge department store, and there are several all over the UK. The range of products online is pretty much the same as you will find in store. From clothes (both their own brands as well as a few more well known ones), cosmetics, beauty products, electricals, furniture, toys and things for the home such as towels, photo frames and bed linen. One thing you will probably notice is that the ... Read the complete review

John Lewis Direct is the online arm of the John Lewis Partnership, perhaps more usually renowned for their department stores in large shopping centres. Rather like their physical stores, the site has a pleasing, upmarket feel to it; there's nothing brash or cheap about the look. The prices, though, are often very competitive, and since there's free delivery, there are no extra charges to worry about. TVs in particular can be a great buy: they offer a 5 year guarantee included - elsewhere this may cost anything from £15 [for a small TV at Richer Sounds] to over £100. The most recent purchase I made was for a Moulinex JuiceMachine Pro ... Read the complete review

I recently used John Lewis online to buy a nice black and decker dustbuster. I was very impressed with the service I recieved, the product was a good price and delivery happened very fast indeed. I will start buy discussing the actual website, it is very easy to navigate and the products are accurately represented in both their descriptions and pictures, well in my limited experience anyway. They also offer free delivery on everything, which is very nice and quite rare these days with other similar retailers, that really try and rip you off by charging excessive postage amounts. I placed my order, and it was done very securely, even asking me to ... Read the complete review
