I recently used John Lewis online to buy a nice black and decker dustbuster. I was very impressed with the service I recieved, the product was a good price and delivery happened very fast indeed.

I will start buy discussing the actual website, it is very easy to navigate and the products are accurately represented in both their descriptions and pictures, well in my limited experience anyway. They also offer free delivery on everything, which is very nice and quite rare these days with other similar retailers, that really try and rip you off by charging excessive postage amounts.

I placed my order, and it was done very securely, even asking me to input bank details into a special HSBC secure window ontop of the John Lewis Check out, and asking me extra questions, I guess in an attempt to reduce credit card fraud.

The package arrived in good time, it was well packed, and the product worked wonderfully!

If I was to point out one bad thing with my experience, it would be that I was signed up for the email mailing list. This was a complete pain! The emails were so regular and pretty pointless in my experience, just reminding you that John Lewis Online still exists and to go and buy from them. It takes a while to figure out how to unsubscribe aswell, but you have to look for the small print at the bottom of such emails, where there will be a link for an address to send an email requesting that you are removed from the contacts list.

Overall though, my experience was very good, and I wouldn;t hesistate to use them again in the future if I found that they offered aproduct I was looking for at a reasonable price.

Summary: Great Website for ordering products, I really like the security of the website.
