Now this is more like it; for the last ten years Juno has been THE best online store to buy dance music vinyl and CDs for DJ purposes. They also have a sister site for mp3 downloads. Well this really is a great site, for a number of reasons. First and foremost, the music is well priced, and certainly there is very little chance of finding any of the music here any cheaper at another store. Secondly, there is so much music available; I wouldn't say you can get anything you want here, but certainly for new releases it is second to none. Juno is an online store specialising in records but also DJ equipment and music production items. I had not heard of Juno atall since the other week when I decided I would buy a shock suspension mount for my Rode NT1 microphone. After searching the usual places, ebay, studiospares and DV247, I was looking at about £20 which I wasnt to happy with. After a Google shopping search, I found one on Juno for just under £10 and I was a bit wary. It's been a long time since anyone reviewed this online music store so I am currently feeling the pressure! Juno is an online only retailer which mostly sells records and cds but in recent years they have also began to sell mp3s, dj accessories and equipment (t-shirts, headphones, dvds, mixers, flightcases). They have been in business since March 1996 and are based in London. I have personally been using juno for around five years and have never had any issues with them. Once or twice I have been sent the wrong record but they have acted quickly to rectify the problem. I have been ordering from Juno for over 3 years and I have noticed it evolve in subtle ways to its present form in that period of time. You can listen to almost every track in either ASF or MP3 format for singles, however they still do not sample the album track list. Only 2 downloads can be FTP'd across at any one time, this can be annoying if you have a fast connection and want to listen to every track in a section in one click. Juno has a very good stock list and specialise in house, garage, techno, trance, drum & bass, hardcore, break beat & hip hop and downtempo/leftfield which is perfect for the vinyl Junkie.
