Kitsch shop appeared brilliant from looking at the website; a great range of products at very competitive prices. And to assist in my decision making they had the Beatles alarm clock I was looking for for my friends birthday, and at a lower price than I could find elsewhere. Upon checking shipping times etc I decided 1-5 working days would be fine, a few days after her birthday but she wouldn't mind, it was a great present, she would love it and so I would have to be forgiven. However now her birthday was two weeks ago and she is still present-less and I am looking like an increasingly terrible friend! We are into the 12th working day now, the excitement ... I placed an overseas order two weeks before Xmas. Mind you, I wasn't expecting it to arrive on time, I was just expecting it to arrive. Two weeks later, I aske them for an update or a tracking number, since I hadn't heard anything after the initial email that had sent to me. Finally, they graciously sent me a 13 word email telling me that my order was too small. What the hell? How does it take two weeks to tell someone that an order has been rejected? I had been looking for a Hello Kitty T shirt for ages. They did them in Top Shop at one point but not any more. I even went to Camden market but they only had Miffy ones (which I also bought). So I did a search, and up came this site called "kitsch shop". The home page does look a little basic and is white and orange with lists of all the categories of things you can buy.
