Advantages: Unusual gifts (or stuff for yourself!), great choice, reasonable prices, great service
Disadvantages: None that I have encountered yet
I've often seen this website advertised in the back pages of Total Film magazine and thought it looked pretty cool but I only visited it recently when I decided to look for something from there for my son's birthday.
The site sells mostly tshirts but also hoodies and things which feature a logo of something off a fil. So, rather than blatantly having the title of a film, eg The Shining on the tshirt, it will subtly feature something out of that film, eg The Overlook Hotel and it's logo. It's a great twist on movie memorabilia and only true film fans will know what the logo is all about! Geeky, yes, but fun also, absolutely! In addition to clothing the site also sells other bits & pieces of film memorabilia such as posters, postcards, prints etc and I have already seen more things which I plan to order for Christmas.
The site is pretty easy to navigate and you can narrow your browsing selection down by types of films, eg action, or by searching for the film title. Postage is only £2.95 which isn't bad and delivery is pretty speedy, only 3 days to get a tshirt out to me. The tshirt I had ordered was unfortunately a little big so I had to return it (they allow up to 30 days for returns which is great), whilst I had to pay for the return delivery this wasn't much (just a couple of quid) as it was a light parcel and within 2 working days they had emailed to advise they'd received it back and sent out my exchange, with no extra cost. So I was pretty impressed with this. The tshirt itself cost £18, which again I didn't think was too bad as it's not the sort of thing you would be buying every day.
Summary: Great for film buffs!
