I have been a loyal customer of Occitane for many years, generally buying lots from them at Christmas and birthdays. It's the French part of me that always brings my back to them. I like their philosophy and their way of subtle marketing. They have remained a high class product but kept their prices reasonable, not blocking people out of the purchase, even in times of crisis like these. The handwashes are my favourite, as are the soaps. I have never had any problems with their staff nor their actual products and would like to personally say, their staff have always been on hand to offer advice when I have needed it. They don't over step the mark ... Read the complete review

I didn't know what their website was and just typed L'occitane into my browser and it instantly took me to their main page. They must have a page for absolutely every country possible, there were far more to chose from than I would except which much be an argument for their popularity! There isn't as much product range online as in store but ... Read the complete review

I love Provencal products, they are so fresh and 100% natural. I have recently discovered this website www.les-savons.co.uk with their range of Provence soaps and savon de Marseille. For those who like pure natural products and scents I can only highly recommend!!!

I discovered L'Occitane while living abroad and was immediately seduced by the exotic name and the promise of uncomprimising luxury and quality.I was initially put off by the prices (having been a drugstore product shopper all my life), but I eventually gave in and bought one of the products. My first cautious purchase was a bar of the Lavender and Shea Butter soap, which put me out $8. The smell was lovely to begin with but faded with use and it failed to moisturize as promised. I later moved on to the Immortelle Eye Balm and Precious Fluid. The eye balm was nothing spectacular, I had to keep reminding myself not to rub my eyes during the day as it would peel off. ... I like these guys. One of the very few cosmetics companies to utilise Braille labelling. Based in Provence, France, L'Occitane sell their products through retail outlets including John Lewis, QVC, miam-miam.co.uk and specialist retailers. It was all started off by a young chap called Oliver Baussan, who bought an old steam distiller and produced a batch of lavender and rosemary essential oil - which he sold at his local French market (if you've ever been to France and shopped in a French market, you'll know how gorgeous they are). Later, Oliver bought an abandoned soap factory and made soaps, and later still Oliver added shea butter to the recipie which is ... Read the complete review
