My nearest Lush store is one hour away, so the next obvious solution is to order online!

My internet connection is rather slow, despite being broadband, so the site takes a very long time to load. This isn't anything to warrant it bad, just annoying for me.

If you don't know what items you are after, sifting through everything can take forever. But the great thing about the website is that you can read so much about a product before ordering.

First of all, you get the write up about a product by Lush themselves. This is where they tell you what the product is, properties as well as how to use the product.

Next is the ingredients list, making it easy to spot if there is a product/scent that you are allergic to, or that you particularly like.

Possibly the most useful part is the user reviews. Lush don't display the reviews in an order that makes the product more appealing - they won't just put higher ranking reviews near the top, but they will be displayed in date order. It is incredibly useful knowing how other people got on with certain products, and ultimately this helps me to make decisions about which products to buy.

Newly added is a video to show you how to use the product, and this is so useful! I had no idea how to use massage bars, but thanks to watching the videos, I now know exactly what to do! As Lush have quite different products, where you won't find elsewhere, this is really useful.

My favourite thing about the website has to be the selection of retro, or retired, items. Your favourites that are no longer available in store might just be available online.

As for the service received, my first parcel was wrong. Despite the dispatch note stating the correct items, the box contained different items. A quick email to Lush and they gave me their address to return the items to. I was slightly sad that I wasn't able to keep the items, but was able to get them sent easily, and told I would be reimbursed the postage costs. The correct parcel arrived within two days and I was thrilled with it.
