When I first joined dooyoo around five months ago, one of the first things I noticed was the abundance of reviews for 'Lush' products. "Lush this", and "Lush that" - it was wall to wall Lush wherever I turned. At the time, I found it amusing that Lush had so many products to review - I smiled to myself, safe in the knowledge that hell would freeze over before I wrote a Lush review myself.

Five months later, Hell hasn't frozen over, but the majority of Britain has, and here I am writing a review of the Lush website... So what went wrong!?

I was struggling to find a Birthday present for my sister - who is one of those people who seems to have everything, and no matter how hard I browsed online, I couldn't find a suitable gift. Suddenly, a word popped into my head... 'Lush'... all those dooyoo reviews I had read in the early days must have sunk into the inner chambers of my mind - I immediately visited www.lush.co.uk.

Now to be honest, the Lush website is nothing special - OK, it's colourful and easy to navigate, but from a design perspective it's perhaps a little cluttered and a bit slow to load pages. At the time I wasn't really bothered by this, and started browsing for ideas. I was looking to spend around the £20-30 mark, and the 'HAPPY BATHDAY' selection box looked quite interesting. Now I have no idea whether this was a good choice, but the products within seemed fairly unusual.
After making the purchase (a relatively easy process), I could relax, safe in the knowledge that at least I had bought something.

The delivery time was very quick, and the items contained within the box were undamaged and in good condition. For those of you who haven't used Lush before, the products come packaged in a box full of popcorn - which is both a novel and environmentally freindly way of securing breakable items. The popcorn smells good, but shouldn't be eaten due to the fact that it's been in contact with lots of girlie soapy things... or something like that.

The whole process from selection to recieving the order was quick and easy, and I would have no hesitation in recommending the service offered by lush.co.uk.

So there you go, the review I said would never be written, has been written - and I still haven't used a Lush product.
