I've been a fairly new fan of lush for about a month now. I used their website to do some research on the products as it all looked a little bit odd and confusing to me when I had a little peek through the shop window at my local lush shop on the high street.

From what I've seen, you can order via mail order if you call this phone number on their website but I don't think they have any online shop features yet. (Correct me if I'm wrong but I can't seem to find an add this item into your basket option or a checkout option on their site.) I've actually just had a look now since receiving a comment from pink_glitter and you need to click on the item description to be able to buy online.

When you visit lush.co.uk, you'll find a side bar with their different product sections like bath, shower, hair care, skincare, gifts and fragrance. They'll also have ads on the main page for any new offers that they're currently doing (at the moment, they've got their valentine's day goodies on display).

You can see all the different products, how much they cost and then when you click on a particular product, you'll find a description, the ingredients, a larger picture, some reviews from people who've tried the product and when available, you'll find a video to do with how to use the product or more info about the ingredients and how they prepare them.

All in all I think the website is very useful and informative and definitely helped me make up my mind about what products I wanted to try and have a better look at in store. To me, the store also has a very strong scent of all the products mixed together so I find the site much easier to try and look for a scent as I can't always smell them properly in store. Seeing all the items in person might also be a bit overwhelming on a first visit so being able to check them out one by one and reading about them before buying is definitely very useful.

Summary: good informative product site
