Advantages: Delivery free and convenient for shopper, Friendly service (I guess depends which shop is nearest to you!)

Disadvantages: Not sure. There might not be such a good range on the site, but I cant say since I just got a mixed case. ie didnt really look properly

Theres a voucher for £5 a case of wine at majestic if you sign up with the food and drink website. Ever the sucker for an offer I thought okey dokey then, and bought one.

The website is perhaps not so comprehensive as its rivals, Virgin for instance, however it does offer similar facilities. I didnt check but I also dont think it offers the 'send it back if we recommended it and its manky' bonus. (I'd have to check that) However, for someone like me who likes their plonk cheap and cheerful its perfect.

Majestic offers free delivery at pretty much any time within a two hour window. This is why I've swapped from Virgin, who won't deliver at my convenience. Last time I ordered some cases from Virgin, it took two weeks for the order to arrive - pooey! Then I had to get a blinking taxi to lug it all home from work.

The process is: you send your order online, witholding your credit card details if you prefer to pay over the phone. You also choose the nearest shop/warehouse to your delivery address. I ordered in the afternoon (thurs) and got a phonecall that evening from a nice young chap, and we arranged when and where and voila - goods turned up at 11.30am. (window was Sat, 10 - 12)

I ordered the cheap stuff, and thats what I got - a nice range of mixed whites and reds for getting plastered with yer mates. No hass.

Summary:
