Advantages: Fantastic packaging of goods

I am a huge fan of Mamas and Papas in general but I am not overly keen on the website. It is not the easiest to navigate and things aren't always categorised the way that seems to make the most sense.

My main problem with it is that you are charged a pretty hefty £4.95 for delivery of small items such as clothes, yet delivery takes 5-7 working days. Also, despite the fact that a lot of sites may say up to 5 working days, items tend to arrive far quicker whereas from Mamas and Papas I have never received anything quicker than 5 working days after placing the order.

That said, the packaging of clothes is second to none - when I ordered 6 pieces of clothing they arrived in a Mamas and Papas sealed box, each item in a plastic sealed cover and with tissue paper separating them. T

he other thing I really dislike about the site is the way they change the prices of sale clothes. I ordered lots of items at 75% off on Christmas Eve and returned to the site days later to find that it was now only 50% off the same items! They were also 25% off a few months ago (the same things) then they went back to full price, then 75% off then 50% off. I don't like this way of doing things at all. Also, they change the prices of things all the time often offering a percentage off but not telling you it is only for a certain time.

Summary: Better to visit a store to purchase goods if possible
