If like me you have fashion conscious teenagers who always want to sport the 'latest brands' then M&M is a great site. M&M is a well established 20 year old internet company who offer considerable money saving deals of up to 75% on top brands. It is one of the UK's top fashion and sports websites. www.mandmdirect.com was ranked fifth in the Hitwise UK 'Shopping and Classifieds - Apparel and Accessories' industry based on number of visits from July - September 2007.

Top Brands

They sell top brands like Nike, adidas, Bench, Timberland, Berghaus, Rockport, Puma, Henleys, Ecko. M and M buy end-of-line clearance items from top brands and sell them directly to the customer cutting out the middleman. They also sell items like watches, wallets in addition to clothing. toiletries, belts, bags etc

The Site

The site is colourful, easy to navigate with a good search facility to find exactly whet you are looking for. You can search for gender, brand, item, sale items, new items etc.

Delivery and Postage

Delivery is quick and ordering is easy.Delivery is normally within 3-5 working days after placing your order. You may be required to sign for your parcel when it is delivered. If you are not at home when the parcel arrives a card will be left for you to arrange an alternative delivery date with the courier. Post and packaging charges are £3.99 in the UK. there is free delivery on orders over £100. They often have promotional offers ie free delivery.

Returns

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason return it within 28 days and you will be refunded in full or you can exchange.

Charitable Work

M and M Direct work with the Teenage Cancer Trust to form BrandAid. Through BrandAid, international brands such as Bench, Ben Sherman, Helly Hansen and Levi's have designed one-off items for Teenage Cancer Trust on sale exclusively from M and M Direct. They have raised £271,458.40 for TCT. M and M Direct have also donated products to TCT's Find Your Sense of Tumour conference, supported the Botham Walk by providing kit for the entire crew, were one of the fashion houses showing at the Cambridge Catwalk evening in November as well as being a major participant of the TCT's Royal Albert Hall Concerts. Whenever you buy an item displaying the TCT logo both M and M Direct and the brand will make a donation towards the Teenage cancer Trust

My Experience

I ordered several items from then for Christmas presents. Delivery was prompt. Packaging was good. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the items. Unfortunately I had to return one of the items because it was too small for my son.... my account was credited as soon as they received the parcel. I will be using M and m again for birthday pressies and sportswear.

Disadvantages

The main disadvantages are that stocks are limited due to the fact that many items are end of line. Also M and M Direct does not offer a free returns service.
