How I found them!

My first encounter with M and M Direct was many years ago when a friend showed me a magazine sized catalogue of theirs. Flicking though it I found that they sold sporting clothes and shoes but it was mostly mens and only a couple of pages dedicated to womenswear.

Things have changed now and there is a large selection of women's clothes and shoes aswell as childrens. You can request regular copies of their catalogue online however I have opted out of this. I would like to say that my only reason for this was my small attempt to save the environment however it was to resist temptation! It is far too tempting to open that catalogue when it lands on your doormat and buy something from it that you don't really need. I go to their website when I am looking for something in particular.


The Site

Their website is easy to use and is laid out under the following headings:

- Mens

- Womens

- Boys

- Girls

- New

- Sale

If you would prefer to shop by department they also have these listed. The departments include fashion, sports and trainers. There is also a search bar if you are loking for something in particular.

M&M do still sell a selection of sports wear however they now seem to be more focused towards designer and fashion labels such as Diesel, Miss Sixty and Bench. You can buy everyting from jeans and t-shirts to belts and trainers!

You can sort your selection by type such as boots or by size, brand colour etc. Your results will be displayed as a series of photos complete with prices and savings of RRP's. You can make some real savings on here. I recently purchased a pair of Timberland boots I had been after for ages on here, I paid £40 for them and they were £120 in my local Timberland store!


Delivery
----------

Delivery is free on orders over £100. For orders under £100 the delivery charge is £3.99. If you want your items quicker you can pay £6.99 for express delivery wher orders placed by noon Monday to Thursday will be delivered the next day.

In my experience the goods I have ordered have usually been delivered within three days.

M&M offer a 28 day returns policy so if you are not happy with your items you can return them and they will refund your money. This is good to know as the obveous disadvantage with buying clothes online is that you can't try them on!


Summary
-----------

I am not really a snob when it comes to labels but with this site you can afford to have them! I have bought quite a few items of clothing and pairs of shoes from this site and the quality has been really good, obveously genuine products.

You do really need to set aside a good hour to browse the site and all it's categories and it can be quite addictive, especially when they total up the amount you are saving on RRP's in your shopping basket! Us women love a bargain, even if we don't really need something if it is less than half price we have to have it!!

The only disadvantage is that the sizes are very limited on their sale items. It's frustrating when you see a pair of shoes you really like and they are only available in one size (not yours!).

Winter is looming and I could do with a couple more jumpers..............off to M and M Direct I go!
