Advantages: Good service, wide choice of jewellery for the men, quick delivery.

Disadvantages: Seems personalised items get sold out fast.

Now that I had found the perfect gift for my boyfriend for his birthday, I now need to find a much longer sterling silver chain for the personalised tags. This is where Maxshock came in and solved this problem. Maxshock offers a wide range of jewellery for men. Yep, its a whole website dedicated to mens jewellery althought there is also their partner site which is dedicated to the women called I-shock.

The website is easy to navigate, with clear labelling, pictures and detailed descriptions of the items on sale. It also indicates on the necklaces and bracelets that they can be customised to a shorter or longer length if preferred. It definitely has a wider range of jewellery for men, usually it is very limited and appears to be the same design type in every shop but Maxshock is totally different.

Just recently looking at the Website again, I have noticed that the majority of personalised items have now sold out, I guess theses type of items are quite popular. Items with the stones involved may seem pricey for what it is but items with semi precious stones tend to be on the pricey side anyway.

As I said earlier I was looking for a longer sterling silver chain and I found it. Maxshock chains are from 16 inches to 24 inches. I went for 22 inches and was offered a choice of a gift presentation ( black velvet drawstring pouch) for an extra £1. I clicked on the no thank selection to this offer and proceeded to a quick and easy check out through PayPal. I received notification of the payment quickly and then another to say its been dispatched. Their service was quite quick as it had arrived the next day. To my surprise on opening the jiffy envelop the chain came in a black velvet drawstring pouch even though I did not ask for it. Oh well, nice to have a freebie.

Good service and is definitely worth checking out when looking for a gift or fashion accessory for men.
